The European Air Navigation Safety Organization (EUROCONTROL) published its 2020 annual report on the aviation industry. In the report; It was stated that the number of flights in Europe in 2019 was 11.1 million, while this number was realized as 5 million flights in 2020. Accordingly, the number of flight losses was 6.1 million in 2020.
It was stated that with the widespread use of coronavirus (Kovid-19) vaccines in 2021, European aviation will be positively affected by this situation and stable progress will be achieved.
In EUROCONTROL's 2020 annual aviation report, it was determined that Ireland's low-cost airline Ryanair was the airline with the highest number of flights in Europe in 2020 with 951 flights.
